A superb Louis XVI style ormolu and bronze cartel clock, late 19th century, maker's mark Just (Hour Lavigne) bronze case stamped C.R, of generous proportions with an enamel dial finely painted with flora, with Arabic numerals and minute markings and finely cast hands, with a domed glass cover and set within a waisted and notched bronze case within a lavish cast laurel leaf surround, tied to the base with a wreath and ribbon embellishment. Length 72 cm. Width 50 cm
