A Smart early Victorian mahogany gentleman's chair, circa 1840s, with a showframe of elegant waisted form with a medallion crest, the curved side supports with rosettes and restrained floral embellishments on a hammered ground, a generous stuffover seat and raised on turned and toupie feet; well upholstered in white and lemon floral fabric, and bearing an antique Dealers Association label.
