In tempera colours upon a prepared timber panel with battens, a central scene with the resurrected Christ within a mandorla and another with Christ standing at the gates of Hell surrounded by twelve festival scenes depicting auspicious events in the life Christ and the Virgin, church Slavonic inscriptions in Cyrillic to the margins.
