A pair of Samuel Alcock & Co plates with pierced Borders, circa 1830. Scallop edged plates with three pierced Gothic knots to the pebble gilded borders decorated with hand painted nasturtiums, morning glory, rose, fuchsia and anemone on an aqua ground, one centred with a scene of a horserider in a country lane, the other with castle over a lake; marked with numerals underside, 3/N09397. Diameter 23 cm
