Three colour gold, jewelled and enamelled chatelaine, late 18th century / Early 19th century, French the top inset with an enamel portrait of a lady, wearing an elaborate wig, decorated with ribbons and flowers, wearing a black dress with a rose corsage on her white fichu, within a rose diamond border, the surmount with ribbon tie, quiver and torchere detail, the dial, bezel and cock plate set with rose diamonds, the plaque links decorated with musical instruments and floral sprays in baskets, the fusee and chain watch by Lepine, Paris, with Roman numeral white enamel dial, open grille-work back, in original fitted leather case, with plush interior and gilt tooling
