A Charlotte Rhead Crown Ducal 'Byzantine' wall charger, circa 1930s, pattern 2681, a bold charger with tubelined flowers and foliage in muted sage, tan, yellow orange and cobalt colours upon a mottled cream and rust ground, striped blue borders to the rim and a sage coloured medallion centrally; with designer's signature, pattern number with Crown Ducal backstamp underside. Height 5 cm. Diameter 44 cm.
