A good Georgian sterling silver crested salver, 1752/53 London, with maker's mark for William Peaston, a fine salver with a pie crust and shell form rim raised on three curvaceous legs with hoof feet, and centred with a rocaille styled cartouche; hallmarked underside, silver weight 749gr. Height 3 cm. Diameter 29 cm.
