Description:
A late Victorian Royal Crown Derby vase. 1897. A waisted baluster vase with a lappet form moulded rim, raised tendrils to the collar and foliate lug handles, decorated to the body with garlands of flowers, drapery swags, acanthus and vases issuing flames in a predominantly iron red palette with gold, cobalt and mint green accents, the collar richly decorated with gold upon cobalt; iron red back stamp and date cypher underside. Height 22.5 cm.
