A Victorian swing handled sterling silver basket. 1867 Birmingham, with maker's marks for Hirons, Plante & Co, the elegant boat shaped basket with beading to the rim, foot and handle, decorated with a reticulated band of vertical stripes, monogrammed to body, and having the original frosted glass liner; hallmarked to body and underside. Silver weight 234gr. Height 10.5 cm. Width 18.5 cm. Depth 13 cm.
