A fine gilded sterling silver and glass figural comport. 1863 London, with maker's mark R.H for probably Robert Hennell II, the heavily gilded figure of a cupid holding a pierced and applied leaf form dish holder and raised on a repousse and chased rococo revival triform shaped pedestal base with shell form feet; hallmarked to all components. Total weight of gilded base: 1424gr. Height 36 cm. Diameter 22 cm.
