Ashes 1930', very attractive commemorative wooden ashtray, in the form of a wooden cricket bat and ball mounted on a pedestal base supporting a circular wooden dish with recess for ashtray, inscribed 'Ashes/ 1930', 76 cm tall, made by Ajax Mantelworks, Sydney. Together with metal ashtray 'Australian Team Regains The Ashes/ The Ashes 1930'. A very fine example of cricketania from this period.
