Len Maddocks' 1954-55 Australian 'Baggy Green' test Cap, green wool, embroidered Australian coat-of-arms and '1954-55' on front, 'Farmer's' label inside endorsed 'L.Maddocks'. Len Maddocks played 7 Tests 1954-57. An eye injury to incumbent wicket-keeper Gil Langley in 1954-55 Ashes series provided Maddocks with an opportunity and he responded with plucky innings of 47 and 69, top-scoring in his first two Tests against the pace of Tyson and Statham
