Archie Jackson, 1927 (3 Feb) acceptance telegram (handwritten and signed by Archie Jackson) agreeing to play in Charlie Macartney's benefit match, Australian XIV, the rest at SCG 18th-22nd Feb.1927 (Charlie Macartney's last first-class match). Jackson played 8 Tests 1928-31, before being tragically cut down by tuberculosis at the age of 23
