A Russian gold, enamel and diamond ring, the oval blue enamel panel overlaid with a single cut diamond set double headed eagle. Enamel detail of the Russian Imperial Crown to shoulders. 14ct yellow gold. Weight 9.1 grams. Size M ½. An enameled ring which appears to be a presentation piece. With the provenance that it was purchased in Baltimore, U.S.A. in the 1970s, and that that it was most likely given by Tsar Alexander the 1st, to an Officer of the Royal Hussars for reward for merit.
