Derby 18th century Derby figure of James Quinn in the Role of Falstaff standing on a low scrolled base applied with flowers, wearing a patterned waistcoat to conceal his pot belly, a carefully inscribed innkeeper's account hanging from one pocket, orange breeches & a pink coat, a shield in one hand & a sword in the other. Condition fair, some damage to the sword hilt, new blade, general age related wear. Height 30.5 cm
