A good Doulton Lambeth Art Nouveau vase by Frank A. Butler (act. 1872-1911), the ovoid body decorated with a panel encircling the scalloped mouth of Art Nouveau poppies and slip trailed tendrils. The design sculpted in relief above a mottled brown glazed lower body, the pedestal foot with further repeating floral designs. Incised artist's marks and impressed factory mark to base. Height 20.5 cm
