A Chinese enamelled cloisonne stem cup, 19th century, finely enamelled with a vibrant palette depicting stylized lotus flowers, born on leafy scrolls, with Mongolian character written in blue enamel, reserved on a turquoise ground, gilding to the interior and the base, 11.2 cm high. Reference: for a similar pair of stem cups, please refer to Skinner's Auction, Boston, 3 December 2010, lot 910. Provenance: Purchased 1970s, Ex private collection, Japan, thence by descent to the current owner.
