Finely carved example with two reclining figures a strong male figure with one arm resting on hip and the female with arm holding a club, both with inset paua eyes. The bowl decorated with haehae and pataki designs with the name 'Tenakde' inscribed to base. Gold bands stamped and inscribed 'Christeson'. Length 14 cm, Height 12 cm. Width 3 cm
