Rare and Superb Fijian War Club. Culacula, with superb symmetry and form this culacula is highly ornate with precise geometric apposing zig zag motifs which beautifully envelope the entire club. The central spine delineates the two halves beautifully. While the outer rim is decorated with a band of chevron design highlighting the decorative elements of the blade. The shoulder blades with fine serrations outline the purposeful elements of this piece as a powerful club. The patina is of a deep lustre and colour. Length 112 cm. Width 22 cm.
