A large 'Celtic harvest' pedestal jug by Clarice Cliff, late 1930s, the heavily moulded baluster jug with a fruit encrusted scrolling handle, a floral spray with ears of wheat to the spout and wheat sheaf motifs to the textured body in autumnal tones, emerald and apple green on a deep cream glaze; with Newport pottery stamp underside without Clarice Cliff signature stamp.
