A Minton inkstand set, circa 1830s, with decoration attributed to Joseph Bancroft, the lozenge shaped tray with leaf form handles, decorated in the French style with floral sprigs and summery bouquets within daintily gilded and shaped reserves upon a white ground with turquoise borders, with a taper stick, vase and two covered pots with gilt floral finials set within moulded compartments. Length 41 cm. Width 28 cm (tray)
