A fine George III sterling silver hot water urn, 1789 London, with maker's marks for Henry Chawner, with a trumpet neck, domed lid and finial, having sweeping long reeded handles and raised on a circular base, with restrained bright cut foliate borders to the lid, body and base, a reeded stopper spout and ivory handle; crisply hallmarked underside. Total weight 1515gr. Height 38.5 cm
