A Victorian Wavy edge pedestal sweetmeat basket, 1892 Birmingham, with maker's mark for Nathan & Hayes, in the neoclassical manner with pierced swag decoration to the body and a broad reeded rim, a bead edge swing handle and raised upon a circular socle to a squared base and having the original blue glass liner; hallmarked to lower body.
