A good Royal Worcester lidded pedestal urn and cover, the ovoid body painted with an extensive valley landscape scene with castle and bridge, signed by Frank Roberts, the baluster column with four fish mask relief highlights, spreading circular base, the decorative pierced lid with ovoid finial, elaborately gilded. Factory date marked for 1911, Shape 1813. Height 24 cm Note: Roberts worked at the Worcester Factory from 1872 to 1920 and is noted as an 'exceptional painter' and 'many of his pieces were used in the training of new apprentices'
