A rococo styled Chinoiserie porcelain wine cooler, 19th century, in the English manner, of cylinder form with applied mascaron handles depicting Bacchus with trailing vine leaves and raised on four acanthus leaf scrolled feet, decorated with an oriental gentleman feeding a crested crane in a stylised garden setting, in puce, green, and sky blue colours with gilt highlights upon a gloss black ground. Height 34 cm
