An opposite pair of Chinese famille rose vases, the ovoid vase with elephant lug handles, finely decorated with fancy birds amidst rockwork, peony and magnolia blooms within shaped reserves, the body embellished throughout with passiflora and imaginary flora with tendrils on a pink and powder blue ground between ruyi fungus and key fret borders; iron red stamp of Daoguang underside. Height 31 cm
