A French ormolu figural clock in the Louis XV manner, circa 1880s, with maker's mark for Japy Freres, the romantically inspired clock with a young Eastern attired tambourine girl resting on a 'Rock' above the enamel dial with Roman numerals, a shaped architectural style plinth with decorative borders and pierced and scrolling motifs in the rocaille manner and raised on foliate feet.
