A striking Art Deco onyx and spelter figural clock, circa 1930s, with mark of Maison Americaine, Rouen, the silver bronze figure of a modish young woman with bobbed hair and clad in a diaphanous tunic posing with one knee raised and looking back at a cold painted peacock atop a stepped pyramid style body decorated with a geometric arrangement of multi coloured onyx, the diamond shaped dial with Arabic numerals. Height 34.5 cm. Width 57 cm. Depth 12.5 cm
