Bishop Suter’s epergne magnificent late 19th century silver plated epergne, the top with large engraved cut glass bowl, six smaller bowls beneath supported on stylised scroll arms with three bon bon baskets hanging beneath, reeded baluster column on three rococco scroll feet with stylised dolphin mounts together with a pair of matching dessert comports PROVENANCE This set was presented to the Bishop and Mrs Suter as a gift of kindness for their six years service to their parishioners in Nelson
