A Carlton Ware covered vase 1921-1927, pattern 2519, design released in 1921 and attributed to Horace Wain an ovoid jar with a domed lid in the Chinoiserie 'Barge' pattern with orange, green yellow enamels and gilding on a deep mottled blue ground depicting an oriental watergarden and pavilion setting; with black W&R backstamp and painted numerals underside.
