'A New Map of the World, exhibiting the tracks of Captain Cook and all the modern discoveries' A dissected puzzle made in England circa 1790, missing three pieces. A wooden boxed set depicting a map of the world charting Cook's three voyages and the relevant dates, produced not long after his death in Hawaii (1779). The pieces are printed on paper on wood carved with a fret or marquetry saw.
