Two 1930s evening dresses one black with long sleeves, button and loop closure down front of bodice, accentuated waistband, slightly padded shoulders, thin gathered collar, V neckline; unlabelled; Australian; crepe; size, medium; good condition a few small holes. One peach with glass bead detail around neckline and on sleeve cuffs, V neck, gathering on bodice for slightly fitted effect, wide waistband, slightly gathered at waistband for draped effect of skirt, side zip, unlined; unlabelled; American; silk crepe, glass beads; size, medium; good condition, dress has been altered and needs restitching, a few mark to skirt, slight fraying at neckline This dress was part of Doris Darnell's original bequest both dresses: Waist 30 inches.
