A large and heavily cast polychrome iron figure of Amoghasidi, Ming Dynasty, 16th century, the bejewelled figure seated in elaborate robes holding two long lotus stems. 40.5 cm high. Provenance: The late Mrs Evans of California. Collected Asian art all her life and these pieces were discovered by Gary Major Douglas in a hidden storage unit in Santa Barbara.
