Three U.S. Civil War bank notes, (Hartford Exchange $1, North Western $2, Manufacturers $5), 1858-61, along with a bullet, sent by George Codlin (one of two brothers who went to America as adventurers and were caught up in the Civil War) to John Codlin a third sibling who remained in N.Z.
