An Edwardian plated tea kettle with stand, early 20th century, with maker's marks for James Dixon & Sons, of compressed ovoid form having a plain body with 'S' scrolls supporting a cylindrical ebony handle, and having two protrusions each side resting upon an 'X' form frame in the form of faux branches, with a small spirit kettle to the stretcher base.
