c1928 British Lions Tour to Australia: Pennants 'English, Rugby League Team', 81 cm long, fair condition; plus 'Meraloma' (Canadian Rugby Club), 71 cm long, fine condition (Before coming home England played some missionary games in Canada, which led to the formation of a rugby league competition in that country). ex England player Jim Sullivan who toured Australia in 1924, 1928 & 1932 (the latter tour as captain).
