A pair of pale celadon jade bowls, each carved in Moghul style with steeply rounded sides and flared rim, springing from a short slightly splayed foot enclosing a multi-petalled flowerhead on the underside, the exterior with two foliate sprays the central leaf rising to curl over a peach set below the rim forming a handle to either side, and interspersed with floral sprays, all in low relief rising from a radiating band of lappets above the foot and below a band of overlapping petals below the rim, the pale stone with slight opaque white striations and inclusions and some faint russet suffusions, box, (2), 16.5 cm diameter; and 16.8 cm diameter
