Lord Harris' visiting card case: mother-of-pearl and hand-painted visiting card case (78 x 102 x 9 mm), decorated with cricket scene on one side, and portrait of Lord Harris on the other side, with initials 'Hon Grch' (Harris' initials). Beautiful cricket item, and almost certainly presented to Harris on his assumption of the captaincy in 1878 at the age of 27. [Lord Harris was the second-ever Captain of the English cricket team, leading England against Australia in 1878-79, 1880 & 1884]
