An exhibition quality Galle cameo and opalescent glass vase, circa 1920 baluster, with a tubular neck, cameo cut with delphiniums in full bloom in colours of violet, blue and brown on a rich yellow ground, Galle cameo signature to lower side, (small manufacturing blemish to shoulder), 61 cm high. Provenance: Sold as lot 313, Crafoord Auctions, Lund, Sweden, the Gustaf Lofberg collection, 25th April 2009. Note: Gustaf Lofberg was general agent for Galle, selling many of the original lamps and vases found today in Sweden. When interest in Art Nouveau waned around 1930 the collection of unsold items were packed away and stored until the date of the 2009 auction.
