World War I: 'With the British Army on the Western Front - a Series of Twelve Artist's Proofs By F.Matania' [London, 1916], group of 9 of the photogravure prints, each 55 x 39 cm and signed by the artist lower right. Original folder soiled, though prints in excellent condition, ready to be framed. at the outbreak of the first World War, Matania became a war artist and was acclaimed for his graphic and realistic images of trench warfare.
