A Louis XV style kingwood bombe commode, circa 1940s, with an ochre and purple serpentine marble top above two long drawers, the lower joined with the shaped apron, having quartered veneered panels to the sides and front and with sinuous inlaid roses, with curvaceous legs, sabots and floral bronze mounts. Height 86 cm. Width 123 cm. Depth 51.5 cm.
