Princess Alexandra (attrib), Garden scene with pink blossom trees, Watercolour Signed in Greek characters lower right 25.5 x 35.5 cm, The present work is signed 'Alexandra' in Greek script lower right. This water colour is reputed to be by H.R.H. Alexandra, Princess of Denmark and later Princess of Wales. An accompanying letter from The Hon. Mrs. Roberts curator of the Print Room at the Royal Collection Trust from May 8, 1996 was sent to the present owners father noting three separate occasions on which the Princess visited Greece and stating that 'It appears that your water colour may have been painted on one of these visits. Alexandra of Denmark (Alexandra Caroline Marie Charlotte Louise Julia; 1 December 1844 - 20 November 1925) was Queen of the United Kingdom and Empress of India as the wife of King-Emperor Edward VII
