Chinese Birthday pattern. Cup and saucer, with four roundels containing Chinese good wishes and a central shou (long-life) character all on a brilliant yellow ground. The underside of the saucer bearing two famille rose floral sprays. The underside of both cup and saucer bearing six character iron red Guangxu (1875-1908) reign mark of the period. Some wear to gilding, the reign marks by two different hands. Saucer dia. 12 cm
