A blue Chinoiserie Carlton Ware footed bowl, circa 1920s, a broad flared 'Velox' bowl raised on applied claw and ball gilt feet, decorated internally with scenes of pagodas, barges and cranes within a Chinese water garden, the rim finely embellished with gilt and enamel; no identification but probably 'New Mikado', an 1894-1927 stamp underside. Height 13 cm. Diameter 26.5 cm
