An impressive mid-19th century French marble and bronze mantel clock, the rectangular form black marble case with restrained ormolu mount, machine engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals, surmounted by a full figure cast bronze lion with detailed scrolling mane, his left paw raised on a gilt bronze ball, silk suspension pendulum, the movement with hour and half hour bell striking. 41 x 16 x 56.5 cm
