A pair of Doulton Burslem 'Morrisian' ewers, tall ovoid shape with slender trumpet mouth, loop handles, raised on circular bases, decorated in blue and white with a lightly clad maiden dancing and playing instruments. The neck, shoulders and bases decorated with stylised foliate designs, highlighted with gilding. Printed and impressed factory marks. Both pieces with professional restoration. Height 39 cm
