A Maori flax skirt (Piupiu), made of harakeke (flax), paru dye, brown, black and natural in colour. Braided across band at top of piupiu. Long plaited strands at each end. Knotted at bottom end of straps. Loose harakeke fallen from top braid. Length 45 cm. Width 86 cm
