An impressive 18th century eight day longcase clock in Chinoiserie and floral decorated red lacquer case. Brass finials. The brass dial with box calendar, silvered chapter ring and ornate urn spandrels. Movement signed by James Grice C. 1740 with the later inscription on the arch boss dated 1793 possibly a marriage gift. Height 232 cm
