A Victorian walnut davenport, circa 1890, of typical sloped form, a hinged olive leather tooled top with three small drawers to the interior, a series of four drawers with ring turned timber handles to the side, faux drawers opposite, the top surmounted by an inlaid partitioned compartment, the top and front with stringing and lightly inlaid with scroll and foliate designs. Height 81 cm. Width 55.5 cm. Depth 53 cm
