Two important Medieval 11th century French heraldic carved marble double column capitals, one displaying a carved heraldic shield, held by carved stepped turned supports with leaf wrapped decotaion. (2) removed from the site of a 11th century Chateau (Beaumont sur Sarthe) Simular Examples can be seen at the Cloisters Museum Medieval wing of the Metropolitan Muesum of Art in New York. (2)
